Leaves & a Cold Front

Mom got home early, flew in the back door, with excitement in her voice said "HURRY, Chop-Chop"! I knew this was going to be an adventure, but what could it be? In two shakes of a lambs tail, my harness was on, and we were headed out the door, down the hill towards the Park.

I'm always up for an adventure, but what's the hurry? And there it was!... The biggest pile of leaves I've ever seen! Mom knows leaves are my favorite ruffage delicacy. The crisp sound of the leaves crunching under my toes, Yes, this was worth the hurry!

As the saying goes, "Wait 15 minutes, the weather can change". I was basking in the sun enjoying the 80 degree weather, when Mother Nature had a change of plans.

Before I knew it, it was really cold. Where's my sweater? When the wind started howling, Mom whisked me up and we headed off to the couch to watch Nat-Geo.


Oh! Only 9 more days... only 9 days left to go!! I can't wait!
