While I was at the hospital, a technician told me something extrasuperspecial! I will be bionic! What?.. Like Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers? Are you serious?...Does this mean I will run faster than the human eye can see?The process started two years ago with the first surgery...Luxating Patella of my right knee. After recovering from surgery, I discovered running faster than speeding light. Unfortunately, today is the first day home of a six week recovery process for the same surgery on my other knee.
Don't tell my Mom... at the hospital, I came up with a plan... its the perfect, "Milk-it-for-all-its-worth" opportunity... probably can get toys, cookies, stuffed things, you name it, I should get it. Decided to try it on the technicians first ...hook, line and sinker!!...no toys or cookies...instead they held and talked to me, toted me around...extra special care for having knee surgery... Aha moment, this plan will work!
It works... new comfy, cozy bed for healing, recovery room, new toy and a stick that was so yummy, but my Mom couldn't stand the smell.
My (human) Grandma had her knee done too, she says we are "knee buddies". Wish we could do our physical therapy together.Off to ice therapy...
