18 Toes and 41 Teeth

Back home from surgery and feeling really sleepy.

When I went to the vet this morning, there were 19 toes and 42 teeth. Now I have 18 toes and 41 teeth. How did this happen? I knew about the stupid *C-word* toe, but a tooth? Not just any tooth, the biggest one in my little mouth no less. Sometime between Saturday and today, I fractured my right side pre-molar. Probably by eating ice chips. Mom has already laid down the law, no more ice chips.

The vet even let me bring home the tooth to put under my pillow for the tooth fairy. Since the tooth had to be cut into three pieces, this could be a good thing, the tooth fairy could think its multiple teeth and she may leave more moolah.

10 day recovery process... cone of shame, if I chew my new fancy foot-wear. Wait, it gets worse...since there are stitches where the tooth was... no playing with toys, not even soft ones, no treats and only canned food. Try telling a puglette, no treats and no toys. YUCK!!

  4. Hey Suki,

Nevermind Dutch. He's such a dork. I hope the fairy comes and leaves you LOTS of parts to eat once the 10 days are over.

    Hint, hint fairy!

  5. Suki, OMG what a trial for you and your human. I hope you are on the mend really really soon and the C-word is a dim memory. You still look cute, even all sicky and bandaged.

  6. Oh Dutch, I can hear you chanting melt-ed cow. You must be really tall to reach the top of the stove.

Pug, hopefully there will lots of parts left under my pillow.

Today was recheck with the vet that made my knees bionic. Great news! He said latest bionic knee is really good!

    Love ya too

  7. Hi Noodles!
What a cute name, especially for a pug-a-roonie.

So far mending is going good, can't wait to be able to go full steam ahead without restrictions.

  8. Hi Suki,
Hope you are feeling better really fast. When I had 4 of my baby teeth pulled I couldn't eat hard stuff and no toys. Yea right...spongy canned food and no toys! But mom did give me peanut butter. Ask your mom, if you put on a sad pug face she'll soften and give you PB.

  9. Hi Eli,
I'm feeling better. Ouch. 4 baby teeth pulled. May have to try PB. I did get some stuff that looks like meat, taste sweet, think it's called watermelon.
