A very special day, 6 week glamour shots. My favorite orthopedic surgeon took x-rays of my knee to check the healing progress. I heard the magical words I had been longing to hear... Released from surgical restrictions! Awesome. Its official... I'm truly bionic. But I still have to wait 2 months to start agility. Thank you Dr. B! This great news also means I will get to see my best friend BRANDY!Almost forgot to mention, the poundage has left the building! I'm at a slim and trim 12.9 pounds. This does mean, increase of treats, right?
With restrictions gone, this is the perfect opportunity to seize the moment and find the pool key, under the cover of darkness. First, change the setting on the camera to night vision (not easily to accomplished... no thumbs). Second, waiting till Mom was distracted with her new phone, texting Aunt ML and Aunt Toad. This was hard work, for a pug to be quiet and not make nose-noises while sleuthing was a huge challenge.
KEYS! Yes, I found them.. but which one?... there are so many. Oh well, maybe it wasn't meant for me to swim at the human pool.
Wait, stop the presses... I found something else in my Mom's purse... besides the keys, there were two names of Men! George and Burt... George's picture was on this flat square thingy. He sure is handsome in his cowboy hat. Wonder what's inside the plastic case. Burt has something to do with bees and wax. Hmmm...

I was in Time-Out today, also. Mom and Dad walked in the house from church and I was up on the dining room table. I stopped in my tracks because I knew I was in trouble. Getting on the table where people eat is a BIG No-No. Next time I'll be sure to jump down when I hear the garage door open.
Guess you need to forget about swimming in that big people-pool and wait until you and your buddy, Brandy, can go back to the lake. It won't be long!

ReplyDeleteYou were on the table? You have special powers to be able to leap in a single bound on the table. Was it to get the fresh fruit in hand carved bowl? Just remember, use your super powers when you won't get caught and sent to time out.
This is my milk-it-for-all-its-worth expression.
Yes, I can leap to very high places in a single bound. I jump on MK's chest of drawers and he brushes me. Whenever I want to be brushed, I m-e-o-w real pitiful-like and jump up there and it works every time. You should try that with your mom.

Suki, YAHOO! Restrictions released!!! What will out first adventure be. Do we need to start small or do we go all out with that bionic powers of yours. I am ready when you are. Regarding the keys. Did you get caught or was you able to check it out without your human knowing? Too many keys we will never get in. Oh well we will stick to our places and possible new places.
