Oodles & Oodles of Fabric

Its a cold, dreary, rainy day, no outside exploring adventures this weekend. After being lazy and sleeping in, we went shopping. First stop was to Mom's vast array of fabric stash. "Lots of yummy fabric" was the term I heard. Look at all the goodies we found for a special quilt.

Then she mentioned... we need just one more (yea right... an excuse to buy more fabric, heehee). So we headed off to the fabric store.

Oodles and oodles of fabric everywhere! I had no idea that fabric came on bolts, just thought that had something to do with screwdrivers, washers and hardware stuff. After visiting with the nice lady at the store, I over heard her comment... "that cute little pug squeaks". It made everyone laugh. I have also been told by my cousin that I meow when I yawn.

It was hard to choose which fabric to bring home, but Mom reassured me, I chose just the right one.

  1. Wow, Suki!! Those fabrics are beautiful!! What's with the humans and the "yummy" inedibles?! My human says that about yarn all the time and I don't think it smells tasty at all. I would never try to eat yarn (and I eat dust bunnies!) Come to think of it, I've never seen her eat yarn either!! Hmmm... wierd.

  2. Our mom collects fabric, too. But how did you get in? We don't think we'd be allowed inside a fabric store. You are lucky!

  3. Hi Noodle!

Our human's are so silly about inedibles. This quilt has been alot of fun to make and I get to help too!

  4. Hi Southern Fried Pugs,
Austin is dog friendly, thank goodness. But Mom wasn't sure about a fabric store, especially being a chain store, so she called. The lady, oh yes! She is welcome, just let her ride in the cart. It was my first cart ride & Mom didn't even take a pic. Shhh, don't tell, when no one was looking, Mom got me out of the cart to pose by the fabric.

You all should try going fabric shopping! It's fun.

    Hugs,
    Suki
