Snow Day!!

Rise and shine came early this morning, 3am. Apparently, a big and unusual winter weather event was happening. Yes, I was up really early.


The Weather dude on the TV was telling everyone to stay off the roads, we were under a Winter Storm Warning. Apparently, the whole city of Austin and South Texas region was coming to a stoppage due to the snow and ice. This means it will be a snow day! Thank you Weather Dude.

Finally, it was light enough to go outside and play in the snow and ice. All bundled up, I headed out. This only the third time I have seen snow. But this time was way better, Brandy was along for the snow adventure!

Oh my goodness, Brandy loves the snow. She even tried making a snow angel.

Walking in the snow had a crunching noise under my feet. It was so quiet outside, no birds singing or squirrels barking, just the sound of the snow.

Despite rise and shine so early, it was a great day for a snow adventure! Snuggled up in my pink, courture, skully sweater, I will insist on sleeping in tomorrow morning.
