Practice, Practice & Practice Posing

Where do I begin, how about with everyone's friend Puglet. As you know his human is going on tour across the United States and into Canada to shoot 1000 Pugs. Once the schedule was announced, I was super excited! 1000 Pugs is coming to TEXAS! I quickly called and emailed my friends Gracie and Arnie. We just had to be apart of this wonderful tour. Our Mom's came up with a plan and waited anxiously for the time to sign up. WE DID IT! We are 3 of 1000! Whoo Hooo! My bags are packed already, I can't wait to see Gracie and Arnie. It will be an honor to meet Amanda in person.

Then it was time to get serious. The 75 degree weather was perfect, so Mom grabbed her camera & we went to practice, practice & practice posing. You may not know this, but I have a habit of breaking my pose when I hear the shutter click of the camera and running to my Mom for a treat. Hmmm, wonder if Amanda's Nikon clicks when it takes a picture?

After a few shutter clicks and running for treats (not when called), treats wouldn't be scored that way. Besides being a wirey cookie, I'm a smart one too.

I quickly figured out how to stay and look cute thru the series of shutter clicks, then the treats would end up in my tummy. Yes!

All this posing practice is hard work. I discovered something I haven't seen in a long time... a small patch of green grass. It must be the only one in the state of Texas. It was time to take a break and enjoy the coolness on my tummy.

  1. Hi Suki! Oh, my mom is ogling over that first picture of you! And we are both jealous of the weather you've been having. I have cabin fever already and am so ready for another adventure. I like the last one because of your expression. Hehee!
    Love,
    Payton

  3. Nice posing Suki. You don't have to practice too hard, Amanda makes you look amaze balls all the time. Her Nikon is magic, like Harry Potter's wand magical. You are so pretty, and petite-darn you!, that no picture can ever be bad. You're totally gonna steal Pugs heart. Heads up, he likes you to bite his back fat!!

  6. Hey Sukes ~

How awesome you're practicing your supermodeling skills! I mean, you're already so insanely cute... now you're cute AND sitting still?

    Nice!

I know my human is dying to shoot you. Uhm, you know, with Nikon.

PS: Dutch always runs to my human after Nikon goes off... maybe you could show him how it's done?

  7. Back off boys, Suki is all Arnie's :-)

We're going to have to start practicing, so we don't act like complete hooligans at the photo shoot.

LOVE the shot of you on the Texas drain cover (?). We have lots of grass in our yard, so you'll be able to enjoy when you stay with us.

    We can't wait!!!!

    1. Hi Gracie,
You had my Mom laughing out loud! Thanks for looking out for me & Arnie! Hi Arnie!!

Yes, it was a drain cover. I've walked last it a gagillion times & didn't think to pose on it before. Mom likes the shot.

      Hugs,

  10. Hi Ellie,
Lucky you to be part of a great thing. Which location are you going to in Milwaukee? Maybe you will see my good friend Payton, she's going to Milwaukee too.

The key for me in posing, treats!

  11. Suki, I'm getting hot under the collar looking at these photos! YOWZA! You DEFINITELY have the posing down pat. ;)

I'm sure you'll do fantastic at the 1000 pugs photo shoot. And according to Puglet, I think Amanda carries LOADS of treats with her!

    Sid.

P.S. Thank you so much for my WINGS! That was so thoughtful of you! My parentals wrote a post about it today. I even did a photo shoot with the wings and my knit aviator hat.
