Getting Ready

This weekend's weather was beautiful. No need to stay inside, it was time to be outside and relish in the crisp morning temperatures. First on the agenda was to help Mom work in the yard before the Pug melting weather sets in, which looks like it will be on Wednesday. Really, it's April and its already going to be 90 degrees, Geez. I think the summer hibernation process may start early. Hey Mom!... looks like early morning adventures are in our forecast.

Mom & I have been busy at home. Normally weekends are time for adventuring. But not this weekend, instead we are getting ready for a very special guest that is coming to visit.

First on the agenda, water Miss P's flowers. Mom calls me a water-bug when comes to swimming, but if its raining, or the sprinklers have gone off, no way I'm getting my tootsies wet. After watering the flowers, having wet paws wasn't bad. Maybe it had something to do with the pink flowers.

The cool weather makes me extra wirey, as if I couldn't be any more wirey. Time to activate my bionic powers in a game of fetch the "Sid tater".

After gardening, activating bionic powers, it was finally time to grill. Shh, don't tell Mom, but I'm no longer the sous-chef, I'm THE Grill Master. Hello, I'm a Pug after all, when it comes to food, Puggies are the ultimate foodies.

While tending the grill, I noticed Mom was keeping one eagle eye on me & the other one was in the lens trying to capture the light thru our Muskogee.

  3. Sounds like you had a great day, Suki! Aren't those plush taters the BEST?! I have a bunch and can't decide which one is my favorite. Whenever I get a new one (which is pretty often as my 'rents have a secret stash of them on top of the bookcase - shhhh, don't tell them that I know!), I keep it in my mouth the whole day. Gotta get that thing nice and soaking wet.

I love that photo of you sniffing the grill - I hope you got to get a bite or two of whatever was cookin' in there.

    -Love,
    Sid

    1. Hi Sid,

You discovered the secret-hidden location of the taters?! You have been busy. Word of advise, you better check the video camera & delete any evidence of you discovering the hidden taters.

      Hugs,
      Suki
