La Niña?

Crazy weather all over the U.S., from record breaking, Pug melting weather, drought, fires, tornadoes, as well as beaucoup of gloomy weather. Weather "forecaster" says La Niña could be the culprit. This afternoon, it was raining and the sun was shinning, what's up with that? Not complaining, Texas needs all the rain it can get. To bring us out of this drought, it will take a hurricane. My friend Puglet is right, the weather is broken...

So with the record breaking heat, I have changed my adventure tactics... to indoor, air conditioned adventures.

Mom was busy on the phone again to see what stores are dog friendly (its amazing how many stores are dog friendly).... take note my friends... First stop was Hobby Lobby to visit Beverly, Mom's go to only custom framing guru. She will be framing an pen ink drawing from my Great Aunt Becky.

Next stop was Academy... this store is great, big BBQ grills... Oh I can smell the mesquite grilled brisket, fajitas, chicken, salmon, halibut and shrimp now. I could go on and on... Let you in on a secret, I'm a darn good grilling sous chef. Mom says we are under a burn ban which includes no grilling. Shucks.

Then I discovered the get fit section of the store, which is apropos for a Pug. Hehee... but I'm only 13.2 pounds, I don't need to lose weight, but I could work on my abs.

After all this I came home with two coolers... Hmmm, something tells me this is related to the Great Adventure... Wait till you here where I went next... stay tuned.

  3. Hi Payton,
Oh yes, you should go on A/C adventures. Not quite sure what the Big Adventure is all about, but Mom keeps talking about it. Oh the suspense.

    Hugs,
