Swimming

Today was awesome! I FINALLY found a way to go swimming at the human pool... It was like a secret mission. How I got in is classified... shhh, don't tell. Mom says we will probably get a nasty-gram in the mail, but we both agree, it was totally worth it. Hehee snort, we are so bad, but I love to swim.


It was so much fun to be able to swim with my Mom. Landa Park in New Braunfels (a natural spring fed pool) has a "Doggy Dip Day" in September that we will be attending, can't wait!


Then I discovered floating... now I know what Mom means when she says she's going floating at the pool... I could get use to this...


Floating was nice, but I would rather swim & use my bionic knees. Thank goodness the raft made for an undercover disguise of sneaking out of the pool. Mom said we aren't making a habit of swimming at the human pool... Shucks... Wish Brandy could have been there for this adventure...Kuddos to her Mom for taking the pictures.

    Since Blogger had it's melt down, Mom has been having issues on posting on Short Tails and fellow Pug friends blogs. She found using Firefox corrects this issue instead of using internet explorer. Not sure what all this means, but if it works, that's great.

    Hi Suki,

    We also had problems with Blogger, too. We are now using Google Chrome with no problems! I guess the problem is in Internet Explorer.

    Anyway, we love the swimming pictures. And you are safe! I wonder if I'd like swimming if I had a swimmy vest on?

    We LOVE to swim! We have a little pool in the backyard that works well for us. It's 12' round, about 24" deep. Just deep enough for us to swim, but we can touch the bottom if we have to. If you have a backyard, you should totally do this. The pool is only $80 at Big Lots. Now, the accessories can cost more, but mom's had her pool for 4 years now and it is awesome!

    PS, that Doggy Dip day sounds like a blast!

    Hey Suki! I'm not sure if I'd like swimming or not, but I sure could use a good way to cool off in this 90 degree weather! I'm so glad you were able to beat the system and have a great time in the pool!

    My mom wishes I would love to swim. I have the same life jacket, but not the same love of water. Stay cool and out of trouble.

    Mom says thanks for the Google Chrome suggestion. She just discovered, she can't comment via her I phone. Hope Blogger recovers from its meltdown.
