Hibernation

Sound asleep, I woke to my favorite words... "Breakfast is ready". The original adventure plan was to rise and shine at the break of dawn before the dreaded Pug melting weather set in. After gobbling down breakfast, I checked the forecast, the weather was going to be to hot... 104 to 106.

The weather is definitely broken... back to my hibernation process, wake me up when it's cooler and raining... I have a feeling this is going to be a long hibernation...

Going outside is walking into an oven... When will the melting temperatures end? Hold the presses... I just remembered, Mom has been hinting on a super "cool" adventure planed in September. Hint, hint... "cool"... For now, back to napping and lounging.

  2. Just move here, Suki! Our weather is broken in the opposite direction - going outside is like walking into a freezer. Or at least a really chilly fridgerator.

Right now, our temperature is almost half of yours - 58 freezing degrees. Seriously. Check this out:

    Sunday
Patchy fog. Highs in the upper 50s. West winds 10 to 15 mph...becoming southwest around 5 mph after midnight.

    Monday
Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Maybe cool adventure = trip to visit me in SF??

  4. Hi Suki! It's just not fair that such an adorable pug like you has to be cooped up inside hibernating! I love those pictures of you...way too cute! Anyway, it's probably safest if you did hibernate until the temps drop to at least 90 degrees. I can't wait to hear about another one of your adventures!
    Love,
    Payton
PS. Pug, you gotta stop rubbing it in on how non-melting the weather is in SF! We are so jealous!!

  5. It has been pug melting weather here too, but it has only been in the high 80's to mid 90's - nothing near as hot as it is where you are at.

We are ready for Fall and cooler weather too!!

  8. I plan on hibernating when the cold and snow arrives. Maybe I will head back to Texas where it will be nice and warm all winter long. Do you have an extra bed, Suki?

Your weather sounds AWESOME, then I could wear my bad Skully sweater. But the best part would be seeing you two!!!! Maybe one of these days we can meet.

  11. Hi Payton!
Do you remember our conversation on the swing at the winery?... A great adventure to see Noodle & Pug? We could go to SF to get a break from the heat & spend time w/ some really cute fellows. Hehee, sigh.

    Hugs,
    Suki

  15. Hi Tiffy,
You have been to Texas? The winters are really nice, but last year we had snow just for part of the day until it melted.

    Hugs,

  17. We have been getting some rain - Saturday and then again today. It has really cooled things down. Right now it is 72 degrees! After so many days of high 90's ... we'll take anything in the 70's! I hope you get some cooler weather soon!
