The weather has messed up my adventure plans again. The summer had pug melting weather and now this weekend's morning temperatures were a chilly 45 degrees. Way to cold for what I had planned. I was so looking forward to the adventure, because it's something that I WON! How cool is that, I won something & its an adventure! Score!! Hopefully next weekend's weather will cooperate.

So instead I had a lazy morning, sleeping in. Then when it finally warmed up, headed off to a local park that has really cool buildings from the pioneer days.

Did you notice what's missing from the picture? My yellow ribbon, that I was wearing in honor of my human cousin while she was deployed overseas. She made it home safely. But I'm thinking about wearing it from now on, to show my support for all the troops that are deployed.
Is anyone besides me watching DWTS? I'm so rooting for JR Martinez to bring home the mirror ball trophy.
Suki - you are so lucky that you get to pose for pictures without your human's hand being linked to your leash. I'm way too much of a spaz to allow for that type of behavior. Sigh. Maybe one day, huh?
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your human cousin on making it home safely. I definitely think you should continue wearing the ribbon to show your support of the troops. They will all be home soon!
Tiffy
Heeheesnort... I noticed the lack of ribbon right away!! I'm quick like that! Yay!! I'm so glad your cousin is home safely. What wonderful news! Definitely makes up for lack of adventure. I hope you get your adventure soon!! Boy, your weather is seriously broken...
ReplyDeleteYeah, my mom's watching DWTS for the first time. She's totally rooting for JR!
Hi Suki! I'm sorry the weather messed up your plans, but glad your cousin made it home safely! Maybe if you wear that yellow ribbon just a while longer, all our troops overseas will make it home safely! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteDear Suki,
ReplyDeleteNot only do you not have on the ribbon, but isn't that a new harness? Lookin' good my friend! I am so happy to hear that your cousin is home, safe and sound. What a relief for your family! I would definitely keep wearing the ribbon to bring awareness and support for our troops. Mom and I do watch DWTS and are rooting for JR too...he's really good! Mom and I wish we could dance like him! Sorry you couldn't go on your adventure this weekend, so I'll have my paws crossed for you.
Love,
Payton
Love the pictures from your adventure! Our human brother, Josh, is joining the Army. He's signed the papers and will go to boot camp on Jan 17. We are proud supporters of our military as well. Congrats to your cousin for her duty to our country and for her safe return!
ReplyDeleteDrools and licks,
Minnie and Mack
Yay that your cousin is home safely! We will be getting our ribbons ready. Our uncle is going to Korea next May. He says he'd rather go to Iraq! Yikes.
ReplyDeleteAt least you aren't melting anymore. Let's just hope you get soon rain soon, too!
Hi Tiffy,
ReplyDeleteI can be a spaz too, Mom has to be quick with the camera.

Suki

Hi Suki, Im sorry to hear the cold weather stopped your plans for your winning adventure but I will look forward to hearing about it soon! I don't watch DWTS we have "Strictly come dancing" its done by the same people though, My Nana watches DWTS and she loves it, says it was a Halloween special tonight and that it was amazing! I'm so proud of all the troops, everyone out there who is fighting for us! I'm glad to read in your reply to Payton that your yellow ribbon is back on! It's such good news that your cousin is home safe! Love and PHUGS Frank x x x x ps the photos are yet again so very beautiful you are so gorgeous Suki and the places you visit look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi Frank,
ReplyDeleteOh, Halloween DWTS sounds fun! Mom says thanks for the picture compliment. What's amazing all the places I visit on adventures are free! Except the kayaking, it was $10/hr.
Hugs,
Suki
Suki - you look adorable in those photos. Have you been taking any pug modeling classes? Glad to hear your human's cousin is back home. Also that's very nice of you to put your ribbon back on until EVERYONE is back home. Sorry your weather was lousy - we got SNOW in NYC this weekend? I mean, what's up with that? It's October. I don't want snow unless it means I'm gettin' some Christmas presents!
ReplyDelete-Love,
Sid.
