Poundage & Pumpkins

The day started off as lazy, sleeping in. Finally rolled out of bed and gobbled down my breakfast. Yes, I'm a gobbler when it comes to food. Give me one minute and my food will be in my tummy, with no morsels or crumbs any where to be found.

Mom got this harebrained idea of a weigh in... she thinks the poundage has found me again.... Well, kinda of.... it is sneaking its way back to my petite figure. My frame is small and need to keep the weight off my bionic knees. Treats will be reduced... bruhahha.. not for long.... the temps are finally getting cool enough for my long walks. Exercise = more treats. Note to self.. next weigh in, Mom needs to be included. Hehee, snort.

After the weigh in and a pedi, next destination was Home Depot. First on the list was energy saving light bulbs. Then I got distracted by the pumpkins and gourds.

HD is awesome! I was posing for a white gourd when two HD people asked if I wanted to pose on the bails of straw. OH MY GOSH! I have never had a crew choreograph photo op! The bails had no props, then poof!... All of a sudden, everything was there.

    Suki!! Home Depot is fun, and yours seems even extra special! How nice of those workers to make a lovely backdrop for you. Don't the gourds and pumpkins smell so yummy? I already put in my request for some roasted seeds this year.

    Suki, you look super cute on those hay bales! That was nice of the HD people to set all that up for you. If it were me, I probably would have been trying to eat those gourds and pumpkins!

    Also, I can't believe you only weigh 13 pounds - that is just a little more than HALF my weight. You must be teeeeeny!

    Suki your Mom is an amazing photographer, the photo of you and the white gourd/pumpkin is wonderful!! It's so artistic! I can't believe HD workers were so kind to give you your own photo shoot back drop, you have your best Pug pose in action there! You look cute as a button! I'm glad you get more treats now its cooler, here its getting wet and cold so my walks are shorter and treats are fewer! Sigh!
