1000 Pugs, Deep Ellum Recap

Finally! Mom is letting me use the computer. Now the Pug shoot recap...

The final stop on the 1000 Pugs adventure was a dog park in Deep Ellum. Downtown Dallas, the park was under several overpasses. The traffic was crazy loud.

Deep Ellum is known for the graffiti. Gracie & Arnie just Had to pose in front of this one, for their sister, Snap.

Arnie,Gracie's and my shoot were rescheduled from the the Garden to Deep Ellum, due to the weather still being broken. On the last day of 1000 Pugs adventure it was sunny & 80 degrees. Crazy weather. But that's Texas for ya.

As we waited for our turn, Since Gracie is an agility pug, she showed me how to scale the partial A-frame & land on the platform. So glad she did! More on this shortly. Notice, Gracie & I are practicing posing before our shoot, while Arnie was gallivanting around the dog park. Doing what he does best, being sweet Arnie.

Then it was my turn to be one of 1000. I'm use to posing for Mom's Canon, it was awesome to pose for Miss Amanda's Nikon & was hoping my wireyness wouldn't get in the way. What seemed like a blink of an eye, it was over. What a chance in a life time with my four legged & two legged friends.

From right to left, Miss Bougie, myself, Puglet, Kingston, Frankie, Arnie and Gracie; We've circled the wagons and standing our higher ground against the two unruly big dogs who's owner's weren't being responsible people. With our glaring looks, the unruly big dogs finally left. Power of the Pug!

I can't believe how fast this adventure went by. It was fabulous to see my friends again and make new ones AND to meet The Puglet and Miss Amanda.

Once at home, it was time to catch up on sleep. Not sure if I was dreaming, or I actually heard Mom say she has a special surprise for me this coming weekend. Hmmm, what could it be? ... Coming here?

  1. Oh my goodness, Suki, seeing you next to Puglet really puts your petite, extracute stature in perspective. It sounds like you had the best time become 1 of 1000!

  3. Glad you had a good time on your photo shoot, Suki. I can't wait to see the actual 1000 pug photos. The power of the pug does come in handy at the dog park - we pugs need to stick together. I hope you get some rest and relaxation!

    -Love,
    Sid.

P.S. Just got your note about poor Payton. I am sending all my Good Juju her way! She is such a fighter, I know she's going to pull through! Thank you for keeping us updated.

  4. We are so jealous of the 1000 pugs but we can't get anywhere close to a shoot. Maybe for the sequel! If we ever go through Dallas, we'll check out that park.
