When we left the house, it was clear, but the air felt "heavy". Driving to the Lake Pflugerville, we went thru a fog bank. Arriving at the lake the sky was clear, then it all changed, within about five minutes, it was all foggy. Now I know what my friends Noodle, Mochi, Pug and Dutch are talking about being in a fog.
But I'm was a little sad, the last time I had an adventure at Lake Pflugerville, Brandy was along for the swim. She would be so proud of me for swimming without my life jacket. Kudos's to Brandy for being the best swim coach.Looking forward to next weekend's first time adventure (for me), this should be interesting. Here's a hint.. even though I have mastered my swimming abilities without my vestie, Mom insists I will wear my spiffy life jacket. Well guess what, I'm insisting she wears one too!
Suki, you give us all toothaches--you're SO SWEET!!! Breaks my heart knowing how much you miss your bestie. Brandy was obviously a wonderful swim coach. Maybe someday you can pass her knowledge on to my little sister. Mochi would love to swim with you! Can't wait to hear all about your great adventure!!!
ReplyDeleteSnorts,
Noodle
You are so awesome, Suki! You have such a big heart, and I am privileged to call you my friend! I hope you know that I would have kept you company and been your swimming buddy on that adventure if I could've, but I know that Brandy was there with you in spirit.
ReplyDeleteAfter studying your no-vest swimming technique for a while, I think the key to keeping my tushie up is mad paddling. I'm still not a great kicker yet, but mom and I will work on that next season!
I'm going to guess that your next adventure is a boat ride! They are so much fun, Suki!
Love,
Payton
You must be part dolphin, Suki, because your swimming skills are phenomenal! Also, "Pflugerville" is a funny word. I googled it just to be sure you weren't making it up! ;)
ReplyDelete-Love, Sid.
Hi Noodle,
ReplyDeleteSorry about your "toothaches". You made Mom laugh out loud. I would love to help Mochi swim. She would be in the Pug Olympics in no time.
Hugs,
Suki
Hi Payton,
ReplyDeleteI'm very proud that you are my friend too. Next time we meet, swimming should be included.
Hugs,
Suki
Hi Sid,
ReplyDeletePart dolphin? Wow! Since I like to climb on big boulders, Mom say's I'm part goat. How cool is that, a dolphin.
Pflugerville is a funny name, it does sound made up. Hehee.
Hugs,
Suki
brandy is so proud of you. You are doing great and having great adventures. That is what BF buddies are for. To teach each other. What could you be doing next weekend :). Yes make your mom too. What is good for you is good for her. Too bad some of your others friends arent closer and they could go on these adventures with you :)
ReplyDeleteOh Suki, I keep watching you over and over swimming like a champ. That picture of you chest deep reminds me of Brigitte at the Cape this Summer. Can't wait to hear about next weekends adventures. My guess has something to do with boats
ReplyDeleteHi Suki, I'm new to your blog but spent some time today going through all your adventures! It looks like you had such a good time swimming, you are such a good swimmer!! It must have been nice to be alone on the beach, the photo of you in "pug deep" water is really pretty! You are super cute!
ReplyDeleteCome over and see my blog some time! Love, Licks and Phugs from Frank xxxxxxxx http://theadventuresofthetank.blogspot.com/
Hi Aunt T (Anonymous),
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I wish my puggie friends lived closer. Just think of the fun we could be having on all sorts of adventures.
Hugs,
Suki
Hi Wilma,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures from the Cape were great. I've never been to the Cape, but it looks like a fun place to have an adventure.
Hugs,
Suki
Hi Frank,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Short Tails, thanks for stopping past. Yes the "private" beach was wonderful.
Hugs,
Suki
You are a fantastic swimmer! We've got to prove to people that pugs can too swim. Look at all of us go!
ReplyDeleteGood job sweetie. We used to have a pug named Shadow that was a great swimmer.
