Camping

As you can see, I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. There was plenty of room for me to rip and roar.

After staying at the hotel it was time to start the 5 hour ride North to the Camp Grounds and the Farm. Thank goodness the roads in Missouri and Illinois are much smoother than Arkansas.

We were initially going to stay at The Farm, but my Uncle, Aunt and my two cousins asked us to go camping. Whooo Hooo! I have never been camping before, The Great Adventure is sure turning out to be an awesome trip. Look closely, you may need a magnifying glass to find me. Kinda of like "Where's Waldo".

All my family came to Camp Friday night for grilled burgers and lots of goodies. Pull up the lawn chair, get comfy, relax, and visit by the camp fire.... priceless. My Uncle even started the fire the old fashioned way, just like the Indian's use to... with flint.

Wait till you hear about the creature I met at the camp ground, to give you a clue, it was orange. Hehee, stay tuned.

  1. My friends, you may not be able to view the video on your smart phone or iPad. So much for the phones being smart.

  2. Hi Suki,
That camper looks really nice, and definitely the way to go when camping (A/C)! I wish I could have joined you...the goodies by the warm fire sound just perfect. I hope you got a nibble...or two!
    Love,
    Payton
PS. My guess for the orange creature is a...um...fox. Can't wait to hear all about it!

  3. Can't wait to hear more about your camping out in the wild. We are indoor kitties and are sooo jealous of outdoor cool activities. Can't wait to see what the orange critter was? Could have been a butterfly?

  6. I almost missed you, hiding out near that huge rv. I love to camp. Hiking, eating, putting our feet on the water, eating, sleeping, eating. What's not to love?

Make sure you share lots of pictures.

  7. Hi Payton,

Camping in the A/C was great, especially when the temperatures were in the upper 90's.

  9. Hi Minnie & Mack,

It would be fun if we all got together for an adventure. To bad we don't live closer.

  10. Hi Ellen,

Glad we didn't go camping in a tent, Mom & I both would have melted. Maybe when it's cooler I will try tent camping.

Did you notice, I was over by the coolers, I figured out this is where some of the food was stored. Hehee.
