Sad, Sad News

Last night, Mom received sad, sad news and her eyes leaked, my tail came uncurled, this was not good at all. I knew Brandy wasn't feeling her normal perky self, something just wasn't right. So her Mom and Dad took her to the vet. The Doctor gave her medication and ran all sorts of tests.

Yesterday, Brandy went for X-rays and an ultrasound. That's when the STUPID "C" word was discovered. Not just any C word that would turn into the "B" word. Her sweet, loving, gentle heart had a very, very, bad cancer (Hemangiosarcoma). I didn't know that your heart can get cancer.

With a heavy, breaking heart, I hate to say this, but Brandy passed over the Rainbow Bridge. The stupid C word took away my best friend from her Mom, Dad and beloved family and friends.

Mom says I have to remember all the good times, we shared in our 3 1/2 years as best buddies. Also to remember what a great life she had, Brandy had the BEST Mom and Dad. She even went to work with her Mom everyday. Brandy was the sweetest, kindest, big dog out there.

Love you and miss you so very much Brandy! I'm am so very proud to have been your Best Friend!

    I'm sooo sorry and sad with you. I had no idea hearts could get the C-word either. I wish we never had to know this :(

    I know you & Brandy's people will miss her a bunch.

    RIP Brandy, this is very sad news.
    At least she is in a special place where no c-word can ever hurt her again.

    Oh, Suki. I am very sad to hear this. I know what it's like to loose a best friend. I will be thinking about all of you tonight and will be praying for Brandy's parents. Hopefully all of the great memories will be of some comfort.

    Suki I'm so sorry you lost your best friend to that C thing. I know Brandy's parents are probably missing her a whole lot. But I'm sure she's watching over all of you from the bridge. Hugs!

    Oh Suki!! My heart breaks! I'm so so sorry. I really enjoyed reading about your adventures with your bestest friend. Mochi, my humans, and I are sending huge hugs to you and Brandy's parents.
