First and foremost, thank you all for kind words and support for Brandy's Mom & Dad as well as myself. One day, we will meet again and I will still be running circles around Brandy with my bionic powers.
After 1,827.4 miles, I'm back home from The Great Adventure! I'm one tuckered out pug... I was like the energizer bunny, go, go, go... my motto, I can sleep when I get home.
Before I elaborate on Adventure details, I
have to tell you about a super-duper-special surprise Mom had cooked up for me. This is one thing I didn't see coming....

On the way home from the adventure, we headed North, this is so confusing because we live South. My surprise destination was
GenKota Winery in Mount Vernon, Ill, low and behold there she was...! Really?! It was the one and only
Payton! We finally met in the fur, along with her parents and Gampy & Gammy! How cool is this! AWESOME! (Ladies, when you have that embarrassing moment when your bra strap falls down & want to adjust it, well I had the same problem in this shot with my harness, Ok Mom, time for a new harness).

I am so honored to meet my friend in person as well as her parents & Gampy & Gammy. They are super sweet and brought lots of yummy munchies. Shhhh, don't tell, Payton & I even got to nibble on some fruit.

While the humans were enjoying wine and charcuteries, Payton & I decided to spend some girl time on the swing. We talked about the hunkie, handsome Puglet, sigh. Sitting on the front porch with my friend we shared all sorts of stories... Priceless!

Once I got home, I got to unwrap my gifts for a second time, no complaints here. Puggies are great at unwrapping gifts.
Stay tuned tomorrow for more on The Great Adventure...
Wow! What an adventure!! You met Payton in the fur??!! How awesome! Maybe someday you could take a road trip out this way and meet Puglet (me) and Dutch (me) in the fur!! That would be cool. My humans took me on a road trip last year. It was LOTS of fun! I hope to go on another real soon!! Looking forward to hearing all about your trip!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear about the Great Adventure. You are such a traveler. Looks like you had lots of fun with your fur-friend Payton.

Hi Suki - Nice to meet you. We've been following Payton for a while now and read about your adventure together. Looks like you two had an excellent day at the winery! Road trips are the best - especially with the pug in tow. We'll be sure to check out some more of your blog, too. It's always nice to meet more pug friends! -Brian, Jenn, and Sid the pug.
ReplyDeleteHi Noodle,
ReplyDeleteYes, I got to meet Payton in the fur! She and her family were awesome! One thing we gabbed about on the hammock chairs was a trip to the West Coast to see YOU and Mochi and all our friends. It would be a fun adventure, maybe one of these days.
Thank you for your sweet words about Brandy. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Hugs,
Suki
We came from Paytons blog and are stopping by to say hello
